i didn't know what a slow cooker could do. I thought it was just to make soup or heat up left over stew. Then I was told it was to make stew, or barbeque or whatever you want to put in there. I use it all the time now. 3 out 4 of my meals are now prepared in this cooker. One pot and it cooks it all
